FAULTLINE was created from the idea that beauty is often found within tension: where movement meets stillness, where darkness meets light, and where nature reveals both softness and fracture simultaneously.

This original three-piece preserved moss installation was designed as a contemporary exploration of contrast and flow. Inspired by shifting landscapes, tectonic movement, aerial earth formations, and the raw textures of the natural world, the composition moves across each panel like a living terrain suspended in motion.

Deep charcoal tones, stormy blues, soft stone textures, and cascading organic forms create a dramatic visual rhythm throughout the installation. The black sculptural fibers introduce a sense of erosion and movement — like roots, rivers, smoke, or fractured earth cutting through the landscape. Every transition was intentionally composed to create tension without chaos, allowing the artwork to feel both grounding and cinematic at the same time.

Each panel was handcrafted using preserved moss, botanical textures, natural wood, and mixed organic materials to create dimensional depth and layered movement throughout the piece. From a distance, FAULTLINE reads as a bold architectural statement. Up close, intricate details emerge through texture, shadow, and organic composition.

Currently styled on a 15-foot wall, FAULTLINE can comfortably be installed across approximately 8-15 feet depending on spacing preference and overall visual impact desired within the space.

Easily install just like a picture frame. Works perfectly on any flat wall surface. Lightweight and ready to hang out of the box.

No water needed — watering will damage the preserved moss.
Keep out of direct sunlight — strong UV light can cause fading instantly.
Humidity — 40–60% ideal indoor humidity is ideal.
Do not place above heat sources like fireplaces, radiators, or heat vents.
Moss is a natural dust repellent — you can use an air can once per year at a distance, however it's not neccessary.
Do not touch or press the moss — oils from hands can flatten or damage it.
